Rachelle is one of the main character's in the all school musical this year, State Fair! She plays the role of a singer at the Iowa State Fair. We(Me and Justin) had fun heading over to the High School to watch one of the cast's dress rehearsals. The performance was very good, and it was even better on Friday and Saturday! They will be performing again this weekend(November 13,15, and 16). I'm sure that all of you down in Iowa would enjoy coming to see a play based on your own state fair, or to see Rachelle! Below are some more great pictures of the past performances!
Yes, Rachelle is the one in the brown dress, and No her hair is not really that short!

"I owe Ioway more than anyone could pay! So I think I'll move to California(CalifornIA)!"
"Emily Arden and the Fairtones"
Rachelle with "Wayne" her love interest for the play.
After the play, Rachelle and Emily
Me with Rachelle
This play was fun to watch, and I look forward to watching it again!

We got the movie and watched it Sunday night. The kids are wonder how those kissing scenes will be done in the play.:-) We look forward to seeing you this weekend. Susie
I hoped you watched the 1946 version and not the 1962 version of the musical. I understand the role of "emily" is played quite differently:0) Sylvia
here's the answer to your question...the boy puts the back of his head to the audience, so that you can't see that they really aren't kissing! Rachelle and Jake do the best fake kissing out of the 3 couples! ~katelyn
Wish we could be there! Love all the pictures! Glad some of the family is making it! Are you video taping?- Arlys
I wasn't sure if you could video-tape the performance, becuase the school does, but they sell a few copies I think, so we'll at least have that I'm sure!!
We really enjoyed the play! Rachelle was great! Joshua fell asleep, but that wasn't because of the play being boring. If we lived closer, we could of gone several times. I'm going to try to memorize a couple of songs cause the tunes were so catchy.
Thanks for hosting us! It was great seeing your kids and see some of their activities and playing cards with the girls is always fun.
